Softpro was founded by Er. S K Verma (B.Tech from IIT Kanpur of 1989 batch) & Er Ajay Chaudhary (B.Tech (EC) from IET Lucknow of 1995 batch). Er Chaudhary currently is also the member of Executive Council, AKTU Lucknow (Asia’s largest Technical University)

Softpro India's advisory board is a combination of renowned people from academics and corporate on honorary basis like Prof. V K Pathak (VC- AKTU, Lucknow), Prof. D S Yadav (Director- GEC, Banda), Prof Neelam Srivastav (Director- REC, Banda), Prof D K Singh (Director REC, Azamgarh), Er. UPDESCO is a premier Public Sector Undertaking of Government of Uttar Pradesh. It was set-up in March, 1977 under the administrative control of Planning Department. UPDESCO provides systems back-up to Government and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs). It identifies and estimates the magnitude of problems and suggests the best possible methods of improvement. Therefore it acts like a bridge between a UP government department and a company fulfilling its requirements.

Softpro India (parent company) is registered with UPDESCO for facilitating software development in entire UP. Apart from this Softpro Learning Center, A unit of Softpro Group is the largest learning center of North India providing Summer/Industrial training to IT students.
